Spininfo : The Beginning
The Spininfo website was born out of discussions between two spin bowlers who are passionate about cricket and especially spin bowling.
Paul Botha and Mark Van Rensburg are both graduates of the University of Stellenbosch. Paul graduated from dental school in the 80’s and Mark graduated with a Sports Science Degree in the 90’s. Mark captained the Stellenbosch first XI and also played for WP Defence, Almar Marist, Somerset West and is currently playing for the 1st team at Jameson Bellville Cricket Club in Cape Town. He has been actively involved in coaching and is extremely passionate about sports psychology. Paul played for the Bellville Cricket Club and later spent time playing for TransNamib in Windhoek, Namibia. Both are currently members of the Bellville Cricket Club in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
